Early Childhood Studies

The Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Studies) is dedicated to preparing future teachers with knowledge and skills to work with children aged 0-8 years and their families in education and child care settings.

The teaching profession demands the highest standards in personal ethics and practice, to which the course is designed to provide a thorough foundation of theory and practice. A coordinated program of workplace learning ensures students have every opportunity to apply their skills in real education settings. In addition, students can tailor their learning experience by specialising in areas of interest once compulsory units of study have been completed.

As we always keep our student's best interests in mind, the course offers a fast-tracked final year to support eligibility for employment in schools from term 4 during the same year.
